I was extremely happy about playing 3FM back in October, as you might have read here. So you can imagine how extremely happy I was when they called me up in December if I wanted to do a segment of their show called ‘Leuk Dat Je Wakker Band‘, which is basically waking people up by playing live in their bedroom at unholy hours (yes, I consider 8.15AM an unholy hour to wake up).
It was a true adventure, waking up at 5.45AM, driving 1,5 hours to wake someone who had only been asleep for 2 hours when we came in. We all had a lot of fun with this experience, even the guy I had to wake. Me and my friend ended up having tea at 8:30AM with a family we’ve never met before on the other side of the country, music takes you places ;-)
